O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.

When through the woods, and forest glades I wander,
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees.

And when I think, that God, His Son not sparing;
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in;

When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation,

พระเจ้ายิ่งใหญ่

พระองค์เจ้าข้า ข้าเฝ้ามองดูด้วยยำเกรง
เพราะพระองค์เองเป็นผู้สร้างจักรวาล
เมื่อมองดูดาวเมื่อคราวยินเสียงฟ้าคำราม
เห็นฝีพระหัตถ์ของพระองค์บนท้องฟ้า

ร้องรับ จิตข้าสรรเสริญ พระเจ้าองค์พระผู้ช่วย

พระเจ้ายิ่งใหญ่ พระเจ้ายิ่งใหญ่ (ซ้ำ)

เมื่อข้าคิดถึงพระเจ้าผู้ไม่ทรงเสียดาย
พระบุตรองค์เดียวเสด็จมาเป็นผู้ไถ่
ถูกทรมานตรึงไว้บนกางเขนเพื่อข้า
ข้าขอบพระคุณที่พระองค์ทรงเมตตา

พระคริสต์กลับมาด้วยเสียงแตรดังก้องเวหา
เพื่อมารับข้ากลับไปอยู่ในเมืองฟ้า
